New Start "2026"

Posted on Fri Oct 30th, 2026 @ 2:24pm by Commander Nith

Hello!

My name is Kate, I play the Charater Commander Nith, your new Executive Officer on the Horizon! Unlike my Vulcan character, I am NOT Vulcan and I'm a very happy, fun-loving, emotional (in a good way) and (I hope) entertaining person!

I'm also the freshly apponted GM on the ship and I'll be doing my best to give us all something to write about and explore as the person that Chris brought on-board to help spice things up and give us all a reason for being here.

Naturally, you all want an active sim!
These places staginate easily if nothing's going on...

I'm here so there's never NOT something going on. So please, I encourage you all while we reboot this "sim", reach out, tell everyone that loves Star Trek and loves to read and write, to check this place out.

This is not a place where you come and say hello and not get a reply for weeks or months on end anymore. I'm here! I'm here for you. I'm also going to write the story regardless of membership level. If you look into the posts, I already wrote an entire episode for your reading enjoyment two days ago (from the time that I wrote this post). Nobody writes twelve-thousand words thinking that what they're contributing to is a lost cause.

For as long as I'm the Executive Officer (Nith), you will have someone to write with, the story will move forward, and I'll keep things interesting (whether it be just two or three writers or twenty writers). My promise to you is that, someone's home...

Welcome to the Horizon!
